Lay Assumptionists

The Lay Assumptionists of St. Anne – St. Patrick Parish are men and women who gather about every six weeks to pray, reflect, and share life. Formed in 2014, their purpose is simple: to grow closer to Christ and Mary by following the spirituality of Fr. Emmanuel d’Alzon, founder of the Assumptionists. 

Unlike parish committees with specific tasks, the Lay Assumptionists focus on living their “Way of Life” each day—seeking to know, love, and imitate Christ. Their spirituality shapes how they serve in other parish ministries and how they live their daily lives. Although not organized around a single project, they follow the Spirit’s lead, such as supporting the education of young people in the Philippines, along with serving in the parish wherever there is a need.
