The Lector Ministry is a vital part of our parish’s liturgical life. Lectors proclaim the Word of God during Mass, helping the Scriptures come alive for the parish community. Through their voices, God’s saving message is shared and hearts are opened to hear and respond.
Serving as a lector is both a responsibility and a blessing. Lectors prepare carefully so that the readings are spoken clearly and prayerfully. This ministry calls for confidence in public speaking, a commitment to ongoing formation, and above all, a faith that shines through both words and actions.
If you feel called to serve as a lector, we would be happy to speak with you and arrange training to help you begin. It is a beautiful way to deepen your faith while sharing God’s Word with others.
