Music Ministry

The Music Ministry at St. Anne – St. Patrick Parish helps lead our parish community in prayer and praise through song. The Music Director plans the music for Sunday and Holy Day Masses, as well as special parish services, and oversees training for the choir and cantors to help the congregation more fully participate in the liturgy.

Cantor Ministry: Cantors lead the congregation in hymns, psalms, and the sung parts of the Mass. Cantors must be confident singers, able to guide the assembly in song, and willing to prepare music ahead of time. Rehearsals take place at least 45 minutes before Mass with our Music Director, and those interested must audition and be at least 16 years old.

Choir Ministry: Our choir sings at the 10:00 a.m. Sunday Mass year-round, as well as at the Easter Vigil and Christmas Eve Masses. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings before Mass. Singers of all abilities, ages 13 and up, are welcome—no audition is required. Joining the choir or cantor ministry is a wonderful way to share your musical gifts and help lead the parish in worship. Share your gift of music!
